Caviyard, Inc. builds and operates its own premium products for human connection. We hold the smallest amount of personal data needed to run those products and this website, and we treat that data as something we are accountable for. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

Who we are

Caviyard, Inc. is a company incorporated in the State of Delaware and headquartered in New York, New York, United States. For the personal data described in this policy, Caviyard is the data controller. You can reach our privacy team at privacy@caviyardcorp.com.

This policy covers caviyardcorp.com and the products we operate under the Caviyard name. Where a specific product publishes its own in-product privacy notice, that notice adds product-level detail and should be read alongside this policy.

What we collect

Website data. When you visit caviyardcorp.com we collect basic server logs and aggregate analytics counts, and the information you choose to send us through the contact form, such as your name, email address, and message.

Product data. When you use a Caviyard product you may provide account details, profile information, messages, and content you create, and we collect the technical and usage data needed to deliver and secure the product, such as device information, IP address, and event logs.

Verification and safety data. To keep our products adult-only and free of abuse we may process age and identity verification signals and trust and safety records. We design these flows to collect the minimum that works and to retain it for no longer than needed.

We do not load third-party advertising trackers on this website.

Why we process it and our legal bases

We process personal data to operate and secure our products and this site, to verify that users are adults, to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, exploitation, and other harm, to answer your messages, to meet our legal obligations, and to improve what we build.

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and protecting our products, compliance with a legal obligation, and your consent where we ask for it.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How we share it

We share personal data with a small set of vetted service providers that process it only on our instructions and under written contracts, including infrastructure, hosting, email delivery, analytics, and verification partners. A summary of these categories is kept in our data processing page.

We may disclose information when we are legally required to, when it is necessary to enforce our terms or protect the safety of people, and to report and cooperate on child safety, trafficking, and other serious harm with law enforcement, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), and other competent authorities.

Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive a copy in a portable format.

If you are in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@caviyardcorp.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time the applicable law requires, and within thirty days where no shorter period applies. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

We are a US company and may process personal data in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where personal data is transferred out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with transfer rules, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses and the additional measures those rules require.

Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, after which we delete it or irreversibly anonymize it. Contact form messages are retained while we handle your enquiry and for a reasonable record-keeping period after. Safety and verification records are kept for the period needed to meet our legal and safety obligations.

Children and minors

Our products are for adults aged eighteen and over. They are not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen. If we learn that a minor has provided us with personal data, we delete the account and the data and take the action described in our safety policy. See the Safety page for how we verify age and report child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Changes and contact

We update this policy as our products and the law change. When we make a material change we revise the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify users in product. Questions and requests go to privacy@caviyardcorp.com.
